new year, new decade

dear 3rd decade,

thanks so far for the good start. i'd like to keep things on a roll. can we agree on that? awesome. i don't want to ask for too much, but you know, i just have a couple requests. i've heard the 30's are the new 20's, can we make sure to not repeat the stuff that happened in the last decade? that'd be great. i just want to look onwards and upwards!! also, can my 30th birthday be awesome, and by awesome i just mean not suck? i'm pretty sure i can make that happen on my end. i've become pretty secure with myself, can we keep it that way? i promise to do the necessary work, just a small hand would be appreciated. i'd appreciate better air quality, but i'm not so sure it's appropriate to ask for your help with that. anyways, thanks again for the good start to a new year and a new decade.
