...was awesome!! the concert was AWESOME - save for the change of venue, i would have preferred to see him at murray theater, but i did gain some perspective on in the venue. i am NOT a fan of that place... anyways, back to the awesome-ness. loney dear was a surprisingly good opening act. andrew bird was AMAZING - he played a lot of stuff that i'm familiar with which i wasn't expecting as he has a relatively recent album out. his voice, whistling, guitar-to-violin switching, AND violin plucking was seriously impressive. i hope next time he's in town he plays a smaller venue, or at abravenal hall. YESSSSSSSIR.
Oh Oh Oh!! Matsu for sushi was really-really good, VERY reasonably priced (half off rolls monday-wednesday)
Yay for a lovely wednesday evening, indeed!
