amy ray part II

the concert was SOOOOOOOOO good... this local kid - jordan booth - was the first opening act.. he was ok. not my favorite, but decent.... the second band was called arizona. OMG WTF LOL BLAH BLAH BLAH, they were AWESOME. A-W-E-S-O-M-E...... and then, amy ray and her band. i was right up against the stage, so close i could see her spit. so close that after the show i got a set list. so close that i couldn't hear out of my left ear since we forgot ear plugs. to top it all off, she played romeo and juliet for her encore, after much coaxing from the crowd... she kept saying "i'll play it this summer, i'll play it this summer!!" to which someone would respond "but i won't BE THIS CLOSE in the summer!!!" so, she did it. i don't think i've heard the indigo girls even play that song at one of their concerts in years - i could be wrong, but damn it, it was SO AWESOME. they played a LONG show AND they played salt lake radio, which is an awesome song, especially when played in slc. anyways, i was on a concert high way into the next morning. definitely one of the very best shows i've ever seen....
