last night brett and i went to lagoon to celebrate our good friend's b-day. as we were driving up there it was raining so hard in slc that we were shocked when we entered no rain land. somehow we thought the storm was moving south. not so much. we were able to get on 1 ride before the rain started. it kept picking up, but we were troopers and went on 2 more rides. then, downpour. our pilot friend kept checking radar stuff and was saying stuff like: this will all be done in 10 minutes. shockingly, he was right. we were still all totally soaked. anyways, the rain cleared out the park and suddenly we were all like little kids running from ride to ride because there were no stinkin' lines anymore!! it was awesome, and i've accepted that lagoon is very fun, even when you're on wicked and colossus and the rain is coming down so hard it stings your face and you can barely keep your eyes open.

Trooper indeed! Katie has to start talking me into going to Lagoon at the beginning of the summer to get me to go by the end of the summer. And even then she usually has to threaten divorce before I start considering it.... (no, not really...) Thanks for your comment on my page. Glad to see you are doing so well!
Lagoon during a rain storm. Sounds like spontaneous weather in Utah alright.
