i love spring time....

i've missed mornings like these.. when the day breaks and the light doesn't know where to go. the mountains shine brighter than the sky. rays of light seem to shine up rather than down. the contrast of green on gray & white is almost shocking against the background of a clear but fading blue.. i love spring time.

this morning was having an identity crisis. flashes of lightening beyond the mountains made me feel as if morning wanted to be light in contrast to its being very dark much more quickly than nature would allow.. cold winds mixed with rain and the tease of warmer air on its way has given an impression that spring is all too anxious this year, or perhaps that winter has worn its welcome. either way.. today needs to decide upon one or the other. i'm willing a decision. the chaos is catching.
